Baştaş Çimento A.Ş. Technological waterline revision works at the Elmadağ factory were carried out by Deser. With the installation of the cooling towers sweeping the filtration system of the factory, cement dust and environmental pollution are removed from the tower by the sweeping method without accumulating to the tower base, and water is recovered with the re-filtration of the impurities. All polluted lines have been cleaned by applying the flushing and pickling process, thus the thermal capacities have been increased. Stable operation is ensured by installing advanced technology automatic chemical dosage and blow-off systems on cooling towers. With the water treatment unit (sand filter and softening devices) that the system needs, the feed water quality has been improved, and potential scaling layer formation has been prevented. Through low micron filters installed on the pipelines, water values can be kept at the level, required by the factory.
