I Have Corrosion; I Have Problem

Corrosion control in closed-circuits has never been easier! Until now, it has never been so easy to reach the data and evaluation algorithm which were generally obtained after all is done with the classical corrosion coupon (KK) method. Now, it is easy to have a closed circuit with continuous corrosion control due to the Electronic Corrosion Sensor (ECS).

It is estimated that the damage caused by corrosion in the USA is around 3%. Here, the changes, production losses are taken into consideration and losses such as orders and customers are ignored.

There have been two methods of measuring corrosion in closed-circuit systems.

• Measuring water characteristic (Analysis)

• To put and take out the Corrosion Coupon from the system and to measure the amount of the difference in weight of the metal. (KK)

Disadvantages of the above systems:

• (Analysis) Fail to notice the changes in water characterization (if fresh water was taken after the measurement)

• (Analysis) Fail to see the corrosion caused by the oxygen taken into the system due to pressure losses

• (KK) Non-continuous measurement, fail to see the reasons of the problems in the system in real-time

• (KK) Not being able to measure the exact quantity

Through the digital corrosion coupon, the causes of corrosion in the system can be understood and seen in real-time. By means of the analysis + product offered by Deser Kimya, the root of the problem can be analyzed.

Product sensitivity and precision can be emphasized. Through the synchronous operation of the electronic assembly and the electronic components on the probe, the reduction on the metal part at the tip of the probe (the same principle with KK, even better) is measured. These changes also provide interpretable graphics by associating with the temperature.

ECS; Data can be integrated into existing central control systems by connecting with the Internet, Ethernet and dry contact BMS systems.

ECS, which was added to Deser Kimya's 2018 product range, was first evaluated on-site by our engineers of Deser Kimya, the results were evaluated and then included in the sales-service palette. For further information you can get support from our experienced staff.
